In this Mega-BB Review, we test 12 commonly available BB brands and try to determine the BB with the best airsoft attributes.
Introduction:
Choosing the best ammo for your AEG can be a confusing task as there are many available BB brands on the market, and practically all of them claim to be “The Best” that money can buy. Marketing hyperbole aside, most airsofters choose to rely on anecdotal evidence or personal experience when it comes to choosing a BB brand, yet opinions continue to vary widely even among the "experts” and veterans. Fortunately, the parameters for a “perfect” BB is easily defined, and this fact allows us to utilize controlled tests and experiments to determine just which BB brand most closely resembles the “perfect” BB.
With the generous support of The 6mm Shop, we pit 12 of the most commonly available 0.20g BB's against each other in controlled tests and experiments to determine the BB's with the best attributes for airsoft.
