 The Excel 0.20g BB, long held to be the standard by which other BBs are judged, exhibited average consistency in weight and above average consistency in diameter. Roundness tests show that the Excel BB is below average in roundness consistency as evidenced by the relatively high 2.12cm standard deviation in rolling path. The lack of consistent roundness may explain the large standard deviation in muzzle velocity at 5.513 fps. Similar to the Marui BB, a visually noticeable casting ridge and injection nipple can be spotted on all the BBs tested. None of the tested BBs caused a jam during testing.
