As is to be expected from metal pistons, very little wear is apparent on most of the piston teeth. The first tooth shows some edge wear through impact with the first sector gear tooth, and the black gloss paint has clearly been worn off the first tooth as well as some of the main teeth. The second tooth was shaved down to 1/2 height prior to the tests with a Dremel tool.
