PDI has announced its entrance into airsoft training equipment market. Its first "simulator" rifle appears to be a gas operated M4A1, and it is boasted to be capable of firing after being submerged in water. The rifle will also feature full metal body per training equipment requirement. No pricing details as of yet. Click the picture to learn more. (Japanese language skills required.)
Tokyo Marui will also be announcing and demonstrating its upcoming next generation electric gun AK74MN at the Rajicon (Radio Control) Show later this month (13th and 14th). It will feature metal receivers and, more importantly, blowback/recoil function. The magazine has also been reworked to have the pusher rod, similar to that of the Type 89, and will feed every single BB. The hop-up unit has been revised to dial-type as well. More details to follow as they are announced.
